Founded by Tim, Built on Trust
Tim started Ernest Air Cooling in 2005 from Shoreham-by-Sea with a simple idea: provide honest, high-quality HVAC work without the runaround. The name Ernest comes from Tim's grandfather, Ernest William Patrick Brooks — a head stoker in the Royal Navy during the war. The company was founded in his memory. Over 20 years later, that same pride and work ethic hasn't changed.
As a fully qualified, F-Gas certified engineer, Tim still works hands-on across every project — from initial site survey through to commissioning. Whether it's a single wall-mounted unit in a flat or a full VRV system for a commercial building, the same attention to detail goes into every job.
Based in Shoreham, we cover Brighton, Hove, Worthing, Horsham, Haywards Heath and everywhere in between. We're big enough to handle complex commercial installs, but small enough to care about getting your home comfortable.
As a Daikin Authorised Dealer, we offer the full range of Daikin's premium air conditioning systems with manufacturer-backed warranties. Our engineers undertake ongoing training with leading HVAC and ventilation suppliers to ensure every installation meets the highest standards.
