The Gold Service at £125/year adds comprehensive diagnostics, priority scheduling, and energy efficiency consultation. Our Platinum Service at £250/year includes two visits per year with deep cleaning of coils, drain pans, and full electrical checks.
One-off service visits are also available from £95. All prices include VAT.
What happens during an AC maintenance visit?
During a standard AC maintenance visit, our engineer performs a comprehensive check including: cleaning or replacing air filters, checking refrigerant pressures and topping up if needed, inspecting electrical connections and controls, testing thermostat accuracy, cleaning the indoor evaporator coil, checking the condensate drain for blockages, inspecting the outdoor unit and cleaning the condenser coil, measuring airflow rates, and testing all operating modes.
The visit typically takes 45-90 minutes depending on the system size. You'll receive a service certificate and a written report on your system's condition.
How often should MVHR filters be changed?
MVHR filters should be checked every 3-6 months and replaced when visibly dirty or when the unit indicates a filter change is needed. Most MVHR units have two sets of filters—supply and extract—and both need regular attention. In dusty environments, near busy roads, or during high pollen seasons, you may need to change filters more frequently.
Our MVHR maintenance plans include annual filter replacement as standard. Between professional services, you can check and vacuum filters yourself to maintain good airflow and air quality.

Yes, we service and maintain air conditioning and MVHR systems regardless of who installed them. We work with all major brands including Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Samsung, Fujitsu, Toshiba, Vent-Axia, Nuaire, and Zehnder. If your current installer is no longer available or you're not happy with their service, we're happy to take over maintenance.
We'll conduct a thorough initial inspection to assess the system's condition and recommend any remedial work needed before setting up a regular maintenance schedule.
Do I need a maintenance contract or can I book one-off services?
Both options are available. Our maintenance contracts (Silver, Gold, or Platinum) offer the best value with guaranteed annual visits, priority scheduling, and fixed pricing. Contract customers also receive priority response for any breakdowns.
However, if you prefer, you can book one-off service visits at our standard rates. We recommend contracts for commercial properties and systems older than 3 years, where regular maintenance makes the biggest difference to reliability and efficiency.
What's included in the 18-point maintenance check?
Our 18-point check covers three key areas. Performance Testing: airflow measurement, temperature differential, thermostat calibration, refrigerant pressure check, energy efficiency assessment, and operating mode verification. Unit Maintenance: filter cleaning or replacement, indoor coil inspection, condensate drain flush, outdoor unit cleaning, fan motor check, and refrigerant leak detection.
Safety Inspections: electrical connection tightness, isolation switch check, earth continuity test, cable condition inspection, bracket and fixings check, and vibration assessment. Every check is documented in your service report.
Is maintenance included in the manufacturer's warranty?
Most air conditioning manufacturers, including Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric, require annual professional servicing as a condition of their warranty terms. If you skip a service and then make a warranty claim, the manufacturer may refuse it. Our maintenance plans are designed to meet all manufacturer warranty requirements.
